Dog-Friendly Wineries and Breweries in Coastal Virginia

I mentioned visiting a dog-friendly winery in my Fall Bucket List. We had our first brewery experience at Blue Mountain Brewery last fall during our trip to Charlottesville. I loved that Chuy got to hang out with us while we enjoyed our lunch and a few cold ones and wanted to relive that experience without having to drive a few hours away, so I began researching dog friendly wineries and breweries in Coastal Virginia. I was quite surprised at how many local breweries we have!

Most of the same tips about visiting a farmers market with your dog apply to wineries and breweries. Basically it all comes down to having a dog that is social and doesn’t freak out in crowds. If your dog doesn’t fit that description, work on it with them before venturing out.
