Fall Things To Do With Your Pet in Coastal Virginia

Can you believe it’s fall already? Amazingly enough, the first day of fall in Coastal Virginia actually felt like fall. I had an awesome summer, but I’m ready for the cooler temps, pumpkins, hayrides and all things fall!

September and October are my favorite months in Coastal Virginia because it’s absolutely gorgeous. This is the perfect time of year if you have a dog because you don’t have to worry about the temperatures being too hot or too cold to walk outdoors.

Time seems to fly by so quickly the older I get. I find myself saying “Where did the year go?” every single year. It’s important to make lists or goals of the things you want to do to make the most of each season. A few things I love doing in Coastal Virginia during the fall with my dog Chuy are:

Picking out pumpkins and mums at the Fall Harvest Fair at Hunt Club Farm in Virginia Beach.
Enjoying a walk on the beach and boardwalk sans tourists.
Fall picnics at Munden Point Park in Pungo.
Gorgeous fall sunsets at Stumpy Lake. Don’t forget a camera!
Enjoying the gorgeous leaves during an afternoon walk at Mt. Trashmore
